I have a first gen
I changed the gauge faces with custom ones I made myself...looks awesome
You can change the faces of the 3 pod cluster without removing the dash
But need to remove the dash if you want to take the whole cluster out
First remove air vents:
To remove air vents get a flash light ...inside the vents you will see 2
clips
..one in the middle bottom of each of the vents..
Take a flat screw driver and pry them up while pulling the vents out.
2 screws are at the bottom of the gauges(need a stubby(or bent)
phillips(star) head to get them correctly)

AFTER GAUGE IS SEPERATED FROM PLASTIC FRONT
WARNING: when it comes to taking the 2 screws out for the oil gauge:
:use small phillips(star)
Tighten one screw a little more than factory setting
Remove the 2nd screw
Loosen the 1st screw 1/8th turn at a time until the old face can be moved
(it should be tight to turn the face)
Swing the face until u can put the 2nd screw back in tight
Remove 1st screw and the face
Insert new face and 1st screw (again tight)
Remove 2nd screw
Loosen the 1st screw 1/8th turn at a time until the new face can be moved in
line
Insert 2nd screw
::this only needs to be done with the oil gauge
I did not do it this way and mine broke
Good luck to all
If any of you are near kingston, ON. I would be glad to help.
