Original wheels are two piece the aftermarket look alike but usually do not
have a space between the rim and the spokes.

Subject: [Team3S] OEM Wheels for a 97 VR4
Hi Guys,
I loaned my 97 VR4 to a friend the other day and she pranged both right side
wheels into a curb hard enough to put some serious dents in the rims. To the
point that the tires are deformed and the rims aren't quite holding air
anymore, so it's a couple of new wheels for me...
The car still has the original 18" wheels and I just want to replace the two
damaged ones with the original factory wheels (I know aftermarket wheels may
be cheaper but I want to keep the original look).
I've been looking around online and calling local dealers and I'm finding
these "OEM replica" wheels from CCI for about half the price as factory
wheels. One place I called claimed that these _were_ the factory wheels and
I'm not sure if he's feeding me a line or not.
Does anyone know anything about these CCI wheels? Are they really the OEM
wheels or are they a cheap knockoff?
Thanks,
Peter
