I just realized I haven't gotten any Supra related emails in a while... I think I'm bouncing them or something. Did the price list go out? Sorry, and thanks.

Finished the last work to fit an OEM radiator this weekend.

It sounds hard, but its more a time issue, and then fine tuning around
the odd spacing/measurements presented by the radiator mounts.

Now..if an aftermarket radiator stays true to the OEM design, then
this should fit those perfectly as well. Right?

Looking forward to testing and implementing this cooling solution with
my engine configuration. For those interested, this will be going into
a 1987 blue Supra which use to have a 7M-GTE but now has a 1UZ-FE with
the R154 adapted and bolted on. Expected running date is sometime around
the end of this month give or take a few days. All of the details on
the build, with pictures, can be found at my project site,
http://1uzsupra.com. Once I have the mounts fabricated, everything else
should fall into place rather quickly. I won't make it to SILV this
year, but I hope to make it to at least Chi2k8, plus some various local
shows to show off this somewhat still slightly rare configuration.

We are attempting to finish up the changes to the metal work by hand today.

The problem has been, minor variations in the mounting locations for
the 3 bolts that hold on the OEM fan shroud.

Plus..getting something that fits OEM tightly, doesnt fit my
aftermarket PWR radiator at all.

The PWR has the lower bolt point about 1/4" higher off the plane of
the radiator than the upper two, and all OEM style's I find are all
flat with each other, so we had to modify for that exception, and the
petcock is in a different place, and the edges of the radiator are
different...etc.

SO..the first round of metal, will go out for OEM fitments only, for
those here with aftermarket (Jim Jobe IIRC)..id like to send you an
OEM perfect fitter, and you tell me what your rad does, that an OEM
fitter doesnt like and we'll add that to the non OEM modifications
that will be required.

Were trying to make the metal work as generic as possible, but we now
know that difference in "interpretation" by aftermarket suppliers is
going to cause issues that some people might take as an incomplete
design..but..hey, if someone deviates from OEM placement of critical
hardware, its nothing I can fix up front.

Im shooting for $350-380 MSRP on the full kit, but you guys will pay
less, just gotta get those costs finalized once we buy the actual
hardware.

The competing hardware is the FlexOlite plastic generic dual fan
system, that mounts thru the core using fans with an unknown flow
rate...they wont hand out CFM rates with a restriction, just open-box
testing.
