    The problem you describe is not a wiring problem but a connection problem. When connectors get corroded all the power has to go through a tiny portion of the connector which gets warm, melts plastic and then fails. Make sure your connections on both side...

    I have a first gen I changed the gauge faces with custom ones I made myself...looks awesome You can change the faces of the 3 pod cluster without removing the dash But need to remove the dash if you want to take the whole cluster out First remove air...
